Capítulo La Fuerza presentó el documental para generar conciencia sobre “Dreamers” en EE.UU.

Writer: Emily TownsonEmily Townson

La Fuerza, The Charter School of Wilmington’s Spanish Honor Society, along with the Latin American Community Center hosted a screening of the immigration documentary “United We Are Dreaming.” “Dreamers” are undocumented immigrants who were brought to the United States as children who now in adulthood seek a path to citizenship in the only country they have ever known. This is their dream, hence the term “Dreamers.” Those in attendance learned about this group in our community and ways to support their dream. Reach out to your elected representatives to encourage them to come up with a solution for this issue that was first presented over twenty years ago!
