The Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica, or Spanish Honor Society, sponsored by Sra. Heard, concluded their year by collecting 32 backpacks full of school supplies as their service project. The officers - Grace Haller, Elliotte Kahler, Caroline Zoltak, Mary Kathryn Watson and Dhanika Pérez - encouraged members and will continue to do so next year. The backpacks were delivered to Principal Ramón Echevarría of Fellsmere Elementary School by Sra. Heard and Khlieo Pérez on Wednesday, May 24. The Sociedad looks forward to creating a partnership and commitment to Fellsmere Elementary School next year with the newly elected officers. I am proud of this group of energetic students! And as our Sociedad motto says, "¡Todos a una!"
